Privacy Policy

Youngr is a consumer wellness app operated by Youngr AI LLC (“Youngr,” “we,” “us”). Grace is our AI health companion. Youngr is not a healthcare provider, is not a covered entity under HIPAA, and does not provide medical care. This policy explains what personal information Youngr collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Services you agree to this policy.

1. Information We Collect

  • Account Information: your name, email address, and password. We also generate a device identifier to limit the number of accounts per device.
  • Health and Wellness Information You Provide: your goals, the habits you track, your check-ins, and the content of your conversations with Grace by text and by voice. If you choose to share them, this includes lab reports and the values in them.
  • Voice Data: when you talk with Grace, your speech is transcribed. See Section 5.
  • Memory Grace Keeps: to be useful over time, Grace keeps a summary of what matters to you (your goals, what you have agreed to, and context from your conversations).
  • Subscription Information: if you subscribe, our payment partner processes the purchase. We do not receive or store your full card details.
  • Usage and Device Information: basic technical information needed to operate and secure the service, such as device type and app activity.
  • Circle Information: if you invite a family member or supporter, or join someone’s Circle, we store the connection and any items you choose to share.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide Grace: answer you, coach you, build and adjust your plan, and remember what matters to you.
  • To explain lab results you share, in plain language, as wellness education (never a diagnosis).
  • To send you reminders and check-ins you have asked for.
  • To operate, secure, and improve the service and to prevent abuse.
  • To process subscriptions and provide support.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your personal information for third-party advertising.

3. How We Share Information

We share personal information only with service providers who help us run Youngr, and only as needed to provide the service. These include:

  • AI model provider (currently OpenAI): generates Grace’s responses and reads lab documents you share; it may receive the content of your conversations and the lab information you share.
  • Voice provider (ElevenLabs) and a telephone carrier: carry your voice conversations with Grace; they may receive your speech during a call, and, for phone calls, your phone number.
  • Apple and Google: deliver push notifications; we keep sensitive content out of notification text.
  • Subscription provider (RevenueCat) and the app store: process and manage subscriptions; they may receive your account identifier, name, and email.
  • Email provider (Microsoft): sends verification and account emails.
  • Hosting (Amazon Web Services): runs our servers and stores data.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or users’ safety, or in connection with a business transfer. We require these providers to protect your information and use it only for the services they provide to us.

4. Voice Recording and Transcription

When you talk with Grace, whether in the app or on a phone call she places to you, the conversation is transcribed so Grace can act on it and remember what you agreed to. The underlying audio is not retained after the conversation. Stored transcripts are kept only for a short time and then deleted automatically: no more than 7 days in our own systems, and our voice provider removes them within about 30 days, with any encrypted backup copies cleared within a further 30 days. Separately, Grace keeps short plain-language notes of what you agreed to so it stays useful over time; you can review and delete those in the app.

We ask for your agreement before recording begins. In the app, you see a notice the first time you use voice and a recording indicator during calls. For evening phone calls you turn on, you agree when you enable them, and Grace confirms at the start of each call before the conversation. You can turn voice off, or type instead, at any time.

5. Circle Sharing

Circle is private by default. Joining someone’s Circle does not give access to their conversations, transcripts, medications, symptoms, or health history. A supporter sees only accomplishments the member’s activity generates, and only items the member explicitly chooses to share, such as a lab summary. Sharing a lab report is done per report and per person, and can be revoked. Removing a supporter ends their access.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

We keep your information for as long as your account is open and as needed to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You can delete individual lab reports at any time, which removes the file and the values we read from it. You can close your account from within the app. Closing your account permanently blocks sign-in and stops Grace’s messages, check-ins, and calls; it does not erase everything immediately, because some information (such as past conversations and system logs) is kept for a limited time for security, fraud prevention, troubleshooting, and legal compliance, and in routine backups. Voice transcripts follow the short retention windows described in Section 4. To request deletion of your account or personal information, contact us at support@youngr.ai.

7. Your Choices and Rights

You can delete shared lab reports, withdraw voice consent or turn off calls, choose what to share with Circle and revoke it, and control reminders in settings. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information and to appeal a decision. To make a request, contact us at support@youngr.ai. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

8. Consumer Health Data

Some information you share with Grace is health information. Where laws such as the Washington My Health My Data Act and similar state laws apply, we treat it as consumer health data: we collect and use it to provide the service you asked for, share it only with the service providers described above to run Youngr, do not sell it, and honor your rights to access and delete it. We obtain your consent before collecting health information you provide and before recording voice, and you can withdraw that consent.

9. Data Security

We protect your information with technical and organizational safeguards, including encryption of data at rest on our servers and access controls. No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and limit who can access it.

10. Payments and Subscriptions

Subscriptions and in-app purchases are processed through third-party platforms including the app stores and RevenueCat. These providers process purchase-related information under their own privacy policies.

11. Age

Youngr is for adults. You must be 18 or older to create an account, and we ask you to confirm this at sign-up. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe someone under 18 has used Youngr, contact us and we will remove the account.

12. Changes and Contact
